About Michael

Having qualified from college in 1999 with a diploma in Sports Therapy, I then started The Sports Therapy Clinic.

I also worked at the Buckingham Clinic, in the west end of Glasgow for just over two years. This was a fantastic experience as the clinic was one of the leading multi- disciplinary practices which allowed me to gain a good knowledge and experience of many different therapies. This I have carried on in my own work continuing to study and learn about different techniques and therapies.

My first experience in professional football was for four months with Clydebank football club. From Clydebank I moved to Livingston football club. There I worked with the youth players up to the first team players. I covered for the head physio Michael McBride, when the first team squad were on pre-season training and I covered the under 21 away games. Hamilton Academicals was my first experience of full time football. I was in charge of the physiotherapy department within the club for three seasons. This allowed me to use my own sports therapy ideas within the squad. I have also worked with Alloa and Dumbarton football club.

I have worked with many people of all ages and some of my private clients include top Scottish and British sports persons.
